The Diversity Committee for the University Libraries at the University of Notre Dame has received a 2002 Cultural Diversity Grant from the Library Administration and Management Association (LAMA).p. The award will be used to help fund a project in which the libraries will employ four culturally and ethnically diverse students from local high schools in the summer of 2003. The program is designed to introduce the students to librarianship as a profession by giving them positive experiences in the workplace.p.
